I found this description of my learning type:
Kinesthetic learners are those who learn through experiencing/doing things. Look over these traits to see if they sound familiar to you. You may be a kinesthetic learner if you are someone who:
- Is good at sports.
(Never get picked last for the team)
Can’t sit still for long.
(I like change man!)
Is not great at spelling.
(Spell Check, duh)
Does not have great handwriting.
(Good thing my Mother made me take keyboarding in HS)
Likes science lab.
(Who doesn't like mixing toxic stuff)
Studies with loud music on.
(That way I can't hear the ringing in my ears)
Likes adventure books, movies.
(Of course)
Likes role playing.
(It is always fun to pretend you are someone else)
Takes breaks when studying.
(Lots and lots of breaks)
Builds models.
(This one not so much)
Is involved in martial arts, dance.
(Move and breath)
Is fidgety during lectures.
(Apologies to those sitting near me)

I am the same type of learner. I have to do something (often multiple times) before it really registers.
